During October 2021, our donation drop-off hours are Saturday October 23 and Sunday October 24, both days 10am-12pm. Our street address is 3632 SE 20th, Portland, Oregon, 97202. PLEASE DO NOT ship or mail food or any other items to this address or leave anything unattended outside our door as it will be removed and discarded by building security. Please note that our health and safety guidelines require us to inspect all food and medical supply donations to ensure they are items we can use. If we cannot use them we will suggest other places you can donate them too.

To contact us regarding a food or medical supplies donation, please call or email us, or write to us at our mailing address The Pongo Fund, PO Box 9000, Portland, OR, 97207

The Pongo Fund always welcomes donation of quality dog and cat food. And we use a lot of it, providing millions of meals each year to help keep hungry family pets well fed when their own families are temporarily unable to do so. And unlike any other pet food bank in America, we use only high-quality food because we strongly believe the animals deserve that. That means we avoid dog or cat foods containing corn or other common fillers. Some of our preferred brands include Canidae, Nulo, Petcurean, Taste of the Wild, Zignature, Stella & Chewy’s, Pinnacle, Earthborn, Merrick and we also love receiving Costco brands Nature’s Domain and Kirkland Select. Our veterinary team also uses all veterinary prescription diets and veterinary medications.

Please note that for health and safety, food donated to The Pongo Fund must be unopened and unexpired and preferably not contain corn, soy or wheat. Also, please do not ship donations to our street address as we are not always onsite to receive them. To schedule shipment, please contact us via phone or email.

We can also use hygienically clean kennels, new toys, metal food bowls and certain other supplies, including gift cards to Costco, Petsmart, Fred Meyer and others, and also gas cards.

We cannot use fresh, frozen or refrigerated food, and at this time we are not in need of collars, harnesses, leashes, towels or blankets.

If you have questions about donations, please contact us via phone or email.

If our donation drop-off schedule is not convenient for you, please email info@thepongofund.org or call 503-939-7555.

***Please do not leave any donations at The Pongo Fund except during our scheduled service hours. We cannot accept donation of nor use any food left outside our door and such food will be discarded. To schedule a donation delivery, please email info@thepongofund.org or call 503-939-7555.
