The Pongo Fund is NOT a veterinarian but we will try to provide referral information for lower cost veterinary care via a network of veterinarians at their own clinics. We cannot help with each request but we help as often as we can. For more information, please reply to the 5 simple questions below and email us at info@thepongofund.org.
PLEASE TELL US:
- Your full legal name, date of birth, home address (if available) and telephone number.
- The name, breed, weight, sex and age of your pet needing care? For example: Spot, dog, 50 lbs, M, 2 years old
- How long have you had your pet and is your pet current on vaccinations and are they spayed or neutered?
- Your pet’s current health condition that needs attention and how long has this condition been evident?
- Has your veterinarian examined your pet for the current condition you are telling us about now and if so, what were the findings?

When you email us, do not include any attachments or photos as that will block delivery of your email. We’ll be back in touch after we receive your information. Please note that we receive many requests for help and unfortunately we cannot help in all cases. Please also note that it could take us several days to respond as we spend much of our time working offsite.
- We return calls between 8am – 9pm. Please be sure to include your telephone number so we can call you back. Without your phone number we cannot call you back or complete paperwork.
- Because we spend much of our time offsite, we sometimes call back using a BLOCKED number. We are unable to change that, so if you do not answer blocked numbers you may miss our call.
If this is an EMERGENCY, please review the Emergency Resources below. Please also note that almost all requests for help will require a basic exam to help determine or confirm various issues. There are several veterinarians in the local area that provide exams in the $50 – $75 range and we suggest calling area veterinarians to learn more about their exam cost.
